HYROX race prep: pacing, compromised running and taper

The fastest HYROX races are paced, not guessed. RoxBuddy turns your own data into the pace you can actually hold for all eight runs.

Know your compromised threshold

Your fresh 1 km pace is not your race pace. The RoxBuddy Hybrid Threshold measures run pace and heart rate after stations and anchors them to your LT1/LT2 bests, so you can see how much the sled, lunges and carries cost you.

Race Engine: pace bands and goal probability

The Race Engine combines your LT2 with a compromised-running penalty to give sustainable and aggressive pace bands for every 1 km run, plus an honest probability of hitting your goal time.

Peak and taper on schedule

The race planner sets Base, Build, Peak and Taper phases backwards from race day, with a two-week taper by default, and re-plans automatically if you miss or add a week.

Race-day strategy

RoxBuddy Pro adds race time predictions, the HYROX Engine Score with a station-by-station breakdown, and an AI race-day strategy built from your data.
